The Beatle Bar always looks busy. Don't go there.

Transvestite hookers. Two bars in town. A dozen or so fun places on the way to Manuel Antonio. That seems okay for dancing and the like.
The thing about wet season, in my experience, is that it rains every day. Not that it rains ALL day. There is sun to be had.
I would not go there at the end of March and early April since it will be Semana Santa there and everything is closed insce everyone is on vacation for a week.
